Essayist. Humorist. Journalist.
I grew up on a hearty diet of Jackie Mason, Erma Bombeck, and “Abbott and Costello” reruns. My father taught me to recite Seinfeld lines before he showed me morning cartoons. Now, in my creative writing endeavors, I let people into the darkest corners of my psyche and put on a show.
For work, I write about all the people who are carrying on the comedy tradition. My passion lies with all the women who have broken the glass ceiling. Yelled “women are funny and deserve respect.”I cover writers, directors, showrunners, storytellers who just create good comedy with little regard to gender.
